Dolphins are sticking with Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback, trades No. 3 overall pick to 49ers

Tua Tagovailoa will get a chance to prove he is special for the Miami Dolphins and Alabama football fans are excited.

This offseason, ideas of trading Tagovailoa or drafting another quarterback have been brought to the Dolphins. However, Brian Flores (head coach) and Chris Grier (general manager) are committed to its No. 5 pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. Miami wants to build with the former University of Alabama standout, and it’s doing it through free agency and the upcoming draft.

After firing Chan Gailey, the Dolphins hired Charlie Frye as Tagovailoa’s quarterback coach.

Then, it signed both Will Fuller and Robert Foster in free agency to shore its wide receiver room.
