The National Football League and Alabama fans are excited for the Houston Texans.
Houston returned a former player to become a head coach as it hired DeMeco Ryans to a six-year deal. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news on Ryans, and the former defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers is ready to work.
He will conduct his first NFL Draft in April as a head coach. Ryans, a native of Bessemer, Ala., has an opportunity to select quarterback Bryce Young with the No. 1 overall pick. The Chicago Bears, who finished 2022 at 3-14, earned the first pick but decided to trade it.
