DeVonta Smith has a special day on the calendar for him.
He became an Alabama football and college football legend on Jan. 8, 2018.
Smith caught a 41-yard, game-winning touchdown pass from Tua Tagovailoa in the College Football Playoff National Championship versus Georgia. His efforts helped the Crimson Tide secure a 26-23 victory in overtime.
Four years later, Smith has returned with another incredible feat.
He set the Philadelphia Eagles’ rookie record for receiving yards in Saturday’s matchup with the Cowboys. Smith caught three passes for 41 yards, moving him to 916 yards on the season.
