Former Alabama wide receiver, DeVonta Smith is recognized as one of the best wide receivers to ever play college football.
Smith won the Heisman Trophy after the 2020 football season. He pulled in 98 receptions for 1,511 yards and 17 touchdowns in 11 SEC games en route to claiming the award.
The Louisiana native was a guest on the “7PM in Brooklyn” podcast and was asked where he feels he ranks among college football’s best wideouts.
“I’m one,” Smith said. “But then again, the receiver in me that kind of watched other receivers, like guys that didn’t get the opportunities I had.
