It’s deja vu all over again with Florida and Alabama squaring off in the SEC championship game.
For the eighth time in 24 years, the Gators and Crimson Tide will meet in the conference title game -- twice as many head-to-head meetings as any matchup from any other conference (Marshall vs. Toledo in the MAC is second with four). However, this is the first time they have met in this game since 2009, when they played with a BCS title shot on the line.
The postseason implications are not as great Saturday, although No. 2 Alabama (11-1) must win if it is to claim a College Football Playoff spot.
