As A-Day approaches, the intrigue builds surrounding Alabama's five-man quarterback competition.
Nick Saban says nobody has taken hold of the job entering the 2 p.m. Saturday in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Jacob Coker was the backup last year, but there's momentum building with redshirt freshman David Cornwell.
"He's doing a great job," junior running back Derrick Henry said. "You can tell he's improved from last fall and last spring, he's doing a great job. That's all he can keep doing is going out there, competing and trying to get better."
Having a competition without a clear leader can be an issue from a continuity standpoint.
