David Feaster, the high school coach who reiterated this week that he had banned Alabama from his campus, has been fired by officials at Parkway High in Bossier City, La.
The Shreveport (La.) Times reported that his recent comments about Alabama being banned from his campus is a reason he lost his job.
Feaster remains employed by Parkway as a math teacher.
School officials told the Times that Feaster is “not the spokesperson of Parkway High School.” The newspaper reported that school officials felt Feaster was “undermining” them and that he was hurting student-athletes from potentially being recruited by Alabama.
