After his first extended regular-season opportunity to show what he could do in the NFL, Damion Square has a two-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chargers announced on Friday that they had agreed to terms on a two-year deal with the former Alabama standout.
Nose tackle Brandon Mebane suffered a season-ending torn biceps against the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 13, clearing a spot for Square to enter the Chargers' starting lineup last season. Square started the final seven games of the season and made 2.5 sacks, the first of his career.
