The vocal public wanted Alabama to run the ball. Run the ball they did.
After seeing running back carries diminish over the last few games, Damien Harris and Bo Scarbrough were featured prominently in the 24-6 Sugar Bowl win over Clemson.
Harris ran it a career-high 19 times for 77 yards as the primary ball carrier in New Orleans. That came after getting fewer than 10 attempts in each of the last four regular-season games of the season.
"Yeah. It was fun, I guess," Harris said. "I never complain about getting too many carries. That's what it was, I just did what they asked me to do.
