The Dallas Cowboys would like to bring back middle linebacker Rolando McClain for a third season – if the price is right.
"We'd like to have him back," said Stephen Jones, the Cowboys' executive vice president, at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Wednesday. "We'll be working on that."
McClain completed his second one-year contract with Dallas and will become a free agent when the NFL's 2016 year starts on March 9.
A consensus All-American and the Butkus Award winner for Alabama's 2009 BCS national-championship team, McClain joined the Oakland Raiders as the eighth player picked in the 2010 NFL Draft.
