Alabama had a late-round surprise pick for its 12th selection of the draft.
Joshua Frazier went to the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 28th pick in the seventh round. He reunites with Karl Dunbar, his defensive line coach the last two seasons who is now an assistant with the Steelers.
Frazier was a reserve defensive lineman in his time with Alabama. He made 15 tackles as a senior including 2.5 for loss. Frazier also forced a fumble and broke up three passes. Two of those batted down throws came in one possession against Florida State in the 2017 opener.
