STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Alabama women’s basketball team kept it close throughout the entire game, but in the end, the 16th-ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs prevailed at home with a 61-52 win in Humphrey Coliseum. With the loss, the Crimson Tide ends the regular season at 15-14 overall and 4-12 in Southeastern Conference play, while the win brings the Bulldogs to 24-6 on the season and 11-5 in the league.
“I thought our kids really played hard,” said Alabama head coach Kristy Curry. “We just weren’t able to get enough makes from our free throws, and we had a couple critical turnovers.
