ICYMI: Bo Jackson Statue Gets An Alabama Makeover
Wednesday evening, Alabama Crimson Tide softball faced off against the ladies of the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Bama was looking to continue their 4 year streak of winning the first game of the SEC tournament, and the Tide did just that.
After a giving up 2 runs to the Bulldogs early, Bama began their takeover with a homer from infielder Leona Lafaele. After what was truly a turning of the Ride, Bama added to their run total quickly and posted 6 by the end of the third. Mississippi State tried to rally late in the 7th, but it wasn’t enough.
