Unfortunately, the biggest in Crimson Tide news today is still the DUI arrest of Alabama offensive lineman Alphonse Taylor. The 6’5″, 345 pound right guard was arrested yesterday in Tuscaloosa and held on $1000 bond. No one has released an official statement yet, but we will let you know as soon as that happens.

In happier news, according to SEC Country, Crimson Tide football landed yet another stellar commit in four star defensive tackle Akail Byers. Byers hails from Fayetteville, Arkansas, and with his verbal agreement during an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa, became the first Alabama interior line commit for the recruiting class of 2017.
