FORT WORTH, Texas -- Alabama began its quest for a seventh national title in school history with a strong showing in the NCAA semifinals.
The Crimson Tide advanced to tonight's Super Six championships for the 22nd time in school history with a second-place finish in their NCAA semifinal meet on Friday night.
“That’s what you set out to do every year,” Alabama coach Dana Duckworth said. “Alabama’s winning tradition -- this was so much fun tonight because we settled in, we did a great job. We still have room for improvement, but we know they trusted their preparation.
