TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama football team returned to the practice field on Wednesday afternoon, working a nearly two-hour session in shells inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Practice Facility.
It was the first time the Tide has seen the field since securing the school’s 25th SEC Championship in Atlanta on Dec. 5. This marks the first of seven bowl practices before Christmas and 11 sessions overall prior to the College Football Playoff Semifinal against Michigan State at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Thursday, Dec. 31.
Alabama and the Spartans will square-off for just the second time, with the first coming in the 2011 Capital One Bowl, as the Crimson Tide came away with a convincing 49-7 victory over Michigan State.
