He is one of the top safety prospects in this draft class; however, Xavier McKinney will have to show pro scouts his value at Alabama’s Pro Day. According to Chase Goodbread of NFL.com, the former Crimson Tide safety cramped up in his first attempt of the 40-yard dash.
McKinney was clocked at 4.63 seconds, but would have been faster if not for the mishap.
He was seen grabbing his ankle after his first run, and did not attempt a second try.
Hopefully, he’ll be able to go at his pro day – seeing how McKinney was Alabama’s most productive player on defense in 2019.
