Trevon Diggs has come into his own five games into his second season in the NFL. After the Dallas Cowboys spent a second-round pick on him, the Alabama product was expected to be a key starter for a struggling defense.
But in just one year, Diggs appears to be one of the elite corners in the game at this point in the season.
Diggs has intercepted six passes in five games which leads the NFL, but at one point in his career becoming a defensive back wasn’t even in his plans. At Alabama, Diggs was recruited by head coach Nick Saban as a wide receiver but would eventually be shifted to cornerback.
