Cut for the seventh time in his NFL career last week, cornerback Trovon Reed is back in the league after signing with the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad.
Reed had been a member of the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad in Dec. 12, when the team released him to make room for fullback Jalston Fowler, a former Vigor High School and Alabama standout.
Reed had joined Seattle on Nov. 14. He'd been out of the league since being released by the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 2 when the team reduced its 90-player preseason roster to the regular-season limit of 53.
