Alabama handed out its 2017 spring football awards Saturday.
The awards were presented following the Crimson Tide’s annual A-Day spring game, its final practice of the spring.
Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, a true freshman early enrollee, earned MVP honors for his performance in the spring game – despite playing on the losing team. Jeudy had five catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns in the Crimson team’s 27-24 victory over the White team.
Sophomore defensive lineman Raekwon Davis won the Dwight Stephenson Lineman of the A-Day Game Award – the other spring award Alabama presents based strictly off a player’s A-Day performance.
