Commodores also spoil Tide men's tennis team's day

The University of Alabama men's tennis team hosted Vanderbilt on Sunday in the Crimson Tide's final regular season match before it begins play this week at the 2016 Southeastern Conference Men's Tennis Championships. The Commodores (15-12, 6-6 SEC) left Tuscaloosa and the Alabama Tennis Stadium with a 4-2 win.

Alabama (14-12, 5-7) now prepares for its trip to Columbia, S.C., for the SEC tournament. Alabama, seeded eighth, has an opening-round bye and will play ninth-seeded Ole Miss on Thursday afternoon in the second round.

Sunday's match marked the final regular season home appearance for Alabama senior Becker O'Shaughnessey, an All-American in doubles in 2014.
