ATLANTA – The Alabama women’s basketball team cut a 25-point deficit down to 12 before running out of time in a 70-58 loss to Georgia Tech on Friday night at McCamish Pavilion. With the loss, the Crimson Tide moves to 9-2 on the season, while the win lifts the Yellow Jackets to 9-3.
“Georgia Tech made shots, and we missed shots,” said Alabama head coach Kristy Curry. “They did a great job of making the extra pass, and we had trouble guarding it. You look at the stat sheet, and we get 62 and they get 63 shots.
