The AP Poll has been in existence since 1934, giving pencil-neck geeks like Furman Bisher, who were not good enough to play the sport, a say in who would be champion of college football. With the birth of the BCS and its College Football Playoff offspring, their poll has becoming less a decision maker and more of entertainment click bait. And it appears that they may be a tad vindictive about the whole thing. This season more than any other, it seems that the pollsters are punishing ranked teams who do not dominate a lesser opponent - except for Ohio State that is.
