Coker makes a second-half comeback to help Tide win the 2015 Iron Bowl

AUBURN | Seven of the Iron Bowl’s 12 starting drives on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium had ended in field goal attempts. Four more had ended in punts, and despite Derrick Henry’s 100-plus rushing yards, neither team had found the end zone.

“We’ve got to make some plays on offense, we’ve got to score in the red zone,” Alabama coach Nick Saban said at halftime. “We’ve been down here three or four times and haven’t gotten any touchdowns. That’s the difference in the game right now.”

So with the game balanced on two Adam Griffith field goals and a 12-6 lead with five-and-a-half minutes left in the third quarter, Jake Coker took the ball behind center facing second-and-four on the Auburn 34-yard line.
