TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Six Alabama players were recognized by the coaching staff following Saturday’s 43-37 loss to Ole Miss in the SEC opener. Derrick Henry and Richard Mullaney were the honorees on offense, while A’Shawn Robinson and Jarran Reed represented the defense together for the second week in a row. Adam Griffith and Tony Brown made the special teams list.
Henry, a junior from Yulee, Fla., rushed for 127 yards on 23 carries against the Rebels. He found the end zone on a two-yard run in the fourth quarter to tie the national lead with seven rushing scores in three games.
