The Cleveland Browns wide receiver, Amari Cooper has agreed to a restructured one-year contract, guaranteeing his $20M and adding an additional $5M, per multiple reports.
The Biletnikoff award winner and 2016 first-round draft pick is receiving the extension after earning his fifth Pro Bowl selection as he totaled a career-high 1,250 receiving yards, 72 catches and 5 five touchdowns.
Cooper was set to enter the final season of a five-year deal, which he originally signed while with the Dallas Cowboys in 2020. The Browns traded for Cooper two years into the deal in 2022 and immediately re-structured the deal to help create cap space that season, while also creating void years in 2025 and 2026.
