Peake told AL.com he still isn’t over the title game
“We felt like we dominated the game,” Peake said. “Those couple two or three plays took over and kinda overshadowed our play. The scoreboard didn’t show it but I felt like we dominated the game.”
Now, Crimson Tide fans probably are bristling, but Peake has a point: Clemson’s offense did dominate. Clemson outgained Alabama 550 to 473 and had 31 first downs to the Tide’s 18. They threw for more yards and rushed for more yards than Alabama. But they did have one turnover to the Tide’s zero, and Alabama’s special teams clearly were better.
