Chris Stewart went to bed Sunday, April 15 like any other night.
The difference, however, was he woke up at 2 p.m. on Monday in the hospital.
In the middle of that night, the member of the Crimson Tide Sports Network suffered a stroke in his sleep.
Stewart, the voice of the Crimson Tide basketball team, joined me and Lee Shirvanian on "The Opening Kickoff" on WNSP-FM in Mobile, Alabama, to talk about the stroke, his recovery and his future calling Alabama games.
"I'm incredibly well," Stewart said of what was originally called a 'serious medical procedure.
