More than two weeks after a health scare sent Alabama broadcaster Chris Stewart to the hospital, the voice of Crimson Tide basketball provided an update.
Without giving many details, Stewart said progress "has been good, just not at the pace I want," in a Facebook post Tuesday night. The biggest issue is continued double vision, he said.
Stewart turned 48 on Monday when he normally would have been the emcee of the annual Alabama basketball banquet. Jim Dunaway hosted in his absence and led the full ballroom in singing happy birthday to the recovering Stewart.
