Twenty-three players with Alabama football roots wore special shoes in the "My Cause, My Cleats" program in Week 13 of the NFL season, according to the league's compilation of participants.
The NFL allowed players to wear cleats that didn't conform to the league's uniform code during Week 13 games. The players were able to sport decorated footwear supporting charitable organizations.
About 450 players showcased causes on their cleats during Week 13 games. The cleats will be auctioned online at NFL Auction, and all of the money will be donated to the designated charity.
