Alabama football players Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones won’t be prosecuted on charges stemming from a May arrest in Monroe, La., because of insufficient evidence, said a report from KNOE-TV in Monroe.
Robinson and Jones were arrested at a park in Monroe on marijuana and weapons charges May 17. Both players are from Monroe.

The arresting officer wrote in his probable cause affidavit that as he approached Jones and Robinson in their vehicle at a Monroe park, noticed a strong odor of marijuana, then saw a gun on Jones’ lap.
