The defensive line of the Los Angeles Chargers has an Alabama flavor -- at least, the second-team line does.
Only two AFC teams have shorter odds of reaching the Super Bowl this season than Los Angeles. While it's a month until the first regular-season game and six months until Super Bowl LIII, the Chargers are shaping up as the team to beat in the AFC West on paper.
One of the reasons is the strength of Los Angeles' defensive line. The Chargers' defensive-end duo of Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram might be the best pass-rushing line duo in the NFL, and Los Angeles has a pair of 300-pounders possessing a combined 18 years of NFL experience on the inside with Brandon Mebane and Corey Liuget.
