Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa drew international attention with his performance during the CFP championship game on Monday night. The freshman didn't play in the first half. But in the second half, he threw three touchdown passes to rally the Crimson Tide to a 26-23 overtime victory against Georgia - tossing a 41-yard TD on the final snap of the game.
On Wednesday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League placed Tagovailoa on their negotiation list. Scott Mitchell of Toronto-based The Sports Network reported the Saskatchewan Roughriders also had sought to add Tagovailoa to their negotiation list.
