If Jerry Jones has learned one thing in the entire Cam Robinson/Hootie Jones brouhaha this week, he's learned not to speak in sound bytes.
Jones (no relation to Hootie Jones), the district attorney for Ouachita Parish, La., has become a national celebrity, and not in a good way, for his brief explanation as to why he chose not to prosecute Jones and Robinson, and it isn't hard to see why. He came across as flippant at best and as an enabler of athletes at worst when he told a Monroe television station why he chose not to prosecute the two.
