This Super Bowl, the 50th, has been billed in this neck of the woods (to use proper SEC vernacular) as a battle between two great SEC quarterbacks. But technically it's a battle of three, and the third might be the most intriguing story of all.
As far as the first two, Peyton Manning and Cam Newton, there is not a lot left to be said. Manning is historically great and Newton certainly has the chance and the ability to be the same, as NFL quarterbacks go.
That does not make either of them popular in Tuscaloosa, and it never will.
