A journey to prove it belongs in the first 12-team College Football Playoff is what Alabama football is on.
After being inconsistent in games, except for Wisconsin and Georgia, the Crimson Tide put together a performance versus Missouri on Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium that was quality. Alabama earned its first shutout (34-0) win over a Southeastern Conference opponent since 2020 against Mississippi State. The Tide showed it still can dominate teams with consistent execution, but that has to continue. Alabama is off this week, but the team travels to Tiger Stadium to face LSU next week in Baton Rouge, La.
