When the Washington Redskins reduced their preseason roster of 90 players to reach the NFL's regular-season limit on Saturday, they kept 11 rookies on their 53-man squad. Only three of the rookies were not drafted, and two of those came from the Iron Bowl rivalry -- Auburn center Casey Dunn and Alabama wide receiver Cam Sims.
Dunn's playing time went up throughout Washington's preseason schedule, from 13 offensive snaps in the opener to 39 in the fourth game, and he's on the team to provide depth in the offensive interior.
