Carolina Panthers still feel they got a deal in Kevin Norwood

Wide receiver Kevin Norwood played in one game for the Carolina Panthers during the 2015 season and didn't catch a pass. In fact, the only ball thrown to him glanced off his hands and was intercepted at the goal line by the Houston Texans in the second week of the season.

But Carolina general manager Dave Gettleman still thinks the trade that brought Norwood to the Panthers was a good deal.

Carolina acquired the former Alabama wide receiver from the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 31 after the Panthers' top pass-catcher from the 2014 season, Kelvin Benjamin, went down with a season-ending injury in training camp.
