Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley didn't catch a pass in his first NFL game. But in the next three, the former Alabama standout caught 15 passes for 264 yards and six touchdowns.
On Thursday, the NFL named Ridley as its Offensive Rookie of the Month for September.
Ridley ended the first quarter of his first NFL season leading the league in touchdown receptions and tied for the overall lead in TDs with Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley and New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara.
Ridley caught four passes for 64 yards and a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers on Sept.
