The Buffalo Bills have placed rookie wide receiver Robert Foster on waivers, the NFL team announced on Thursday afternoon.
The Bills released the former Alabama standout to clear a spot on the active roster for Cam Phillips, another undrafted rookie who was promoted from Buffalo's practice squad.
Foster had played in all six Bills' games this season and had two receptions for 30 yards. He'd been on the field for 100 offensive snaps and 31 special-teams plays.
Foster's two catches came against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 16 in the second game of the season.
