Buffalo Bills general manager looking for franchise quarterback

The Buffalo Bills opened their offseason program on Monday with two quarterbacks on their roster -- former Alabama standout AJ McCarron and Nathan Peterman, who started two games for the NFL team as a rookie in 2017.

Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane held a press conference on Monday, during which he spent plenty of time talking about quarterbacks without mentioning the Bills' current QBs. The focus was on next week's NFL Draft and what the Bills might do.

"You've got to have a franchise quarterback," Beane said. "That's one of the main jobs of a GM is to find a franchise quarterback.
