A wide-ranging plan to upgrade Alabama athletics facilities and a major fundraising drive was announced Thursday by university officials in Tuscaloosa.
Most notably, major changes are coming to the two highest-profile buildings on campus -- Bryant-Denny Stadium and Coleman Coliseum.
The football stadium will see the south end zone upper deck reconfigured with a new massive video board in the middle of what is currently seating. This is the deck built less than 10 years ago and is home to a portion of the Alabama student section.
The seating bowl of Coleman Coliseum will be completely rebuilt with two tiers and seats closer to the floor with new premium options.
