On Friday in a press release from Alabama football’s Director of Sports Medicine Jeff Allen, the team shared that head coach Nick Saban’s Thursday PCR test for COVID-19 came back negative.
Saban is still following the SEC Return to Activity and Medical Guidance Task Force Protocol to testing asymptomatic positives.
The head coach needs three total false PCR tests in order to be eligible to return to the team.
Below Alabama’s full update:
“Coach Saban was evaluated again today by Dr. Robinson. He continues to be asymptomatic and without fever. We are continuing to follow the SEC Return to Activity and Medical Guidance Task Force Protocol for testing asymptomatic positives.
