During Nick Saban’s Thursday press conference, he was asked if any players were to be held out for the A-Day scrimmage. Saban confirmed that outside linebackers Terrell Lewis, Ben Davis and right tackle Jedrick Wills are all out. He also added that tight end Major Tennison who has missed the team’s last three practices is in the concussion protocol and is questionable.
Lewis has had a tough time over the past two season’s dealing with injuries. As a redshirt freshman, Lewis tore a ligament in his elbow against Florida State in the season opener but was able to return to the team for the postseason.
