Breaking News: Jalen Milroe takes field as Alabama’s starting quarterback vs. Texas A&M

Alabama has its starting quarterback for the Texas A&M matchup, and it’s Jalen Milroe.

The second-year quarterback from Texas took the field first for the Crimson Tide’s offense.

Milroe replaces an injured Bryce Young, who sustained an AC joint injury to his shoulder versus Arkansas.

He filled in for Young in the second quarter against the Razorbacks and totaled 65 passing yards, 91 rushing yards, and two touchdowns. Milroe assisted the Crimson Tide to a 49-26 victory on the road. He took first-team reps all week in practice to prepare himself for this opportunity to start.
