Akylin Dear has announced his commitment to Alabama.
Dear is a product of Quitman High School in Mississippi. He garners a four-star rating from most recruiting sites at the moment. Alabama beats out Ole Miss and Mississippi State to earn his commitment.
The Crimson Tide had been working to flip Dear from Ole Miss for several months. They got him on campus for an official visit earlier this month, and it was a ‘dope visit’ for the new Tide commit.
“The people at Alabama are the people you want around you, like cool people,” Dear told Touchdown Alabama.
