Marcus Banks announced his verbal commitment to Alabama on Saturday, Jan. 5 at the U.S. army All-American Bowl.
Banks is a 4-Star defensive back out of Texas. He de-committed from LSU on Oct. 17 and Alabama immediately became a major player for his commitment. He spoke to yours truly in April and kept it short and sweet when he spoke on the Tide.
“Alabama speaks for itself,” Banks said.
The Crimson Tide made some moves with Banks last Summer after he released his top 4 in April. All signs pointed to him choosing the Tide, but a visit to Baton Rouge seemed to have the stole the Texas-native’s heart and lead him to commit to LSU On June 8.
