Bo Scarbrough’s first opportunity in the National Football League did not go well, but the United States Football League (USFL) has reopened its eyes to him. Scarbrough turned in three 100-yard performances for the Birmingham Stallions, including a 135-yard outing with a touchdown in the USFL Championship Game against the Philadelphia Stars. He delivered the Stallions to a championship, bringing Birmingham its first one in professional sports. Scarbrough’s efforts allowed him to receive a workout with the New Orleans Saints.
