ATLANTA | The University of Alabama put on a special teams block party at the Georgia Dome in Saturday’s SEC Championship Game, but there’s some disagreement over who was the official host.
Alabama blocked a punt for a safety and later blocked a field goal attempt in a 29-15 victory over Florida. D.J. Pettway blocked the field goal and Keith Holcombe was credited with the punt block that went through the back of the end zone early in the first quarter.
Damien Harris, however, isn’t willing to concede that block to Holcombe.
