Blake Sims wants fans to talk about Buccaneers 'just like everyone talks about Alabama'

Former Alabama quarterback Blake Sims signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers - again - on Friday.

According to the NFL's transactions report for Friday, the league office did not approve the reserve/future contract that Sims signed with the Bucs on Jan. 2 and sent it back to the team. Sims then signed another contract with Tampa Bay.

The Buccaneers did not announce the cause of the problem, only that Sims had re-signed.

A standard NFL contract says the NFL commissioner can disapprove a contract "on reasonable grounds, including but not limited to an attempt by the parties to abridge or impair the rights of any other club, uncertainty or incompleteness in expression of the parties' respective rights and obligations, or conflict between the terms of this contract and any collective-bargaining agreement then in existence.
